The tripod and flare deck of the phase 22 platform of development plan of South Pars phases 22, 23, and 24 was installed in the offshore position of the platform by Tuesday, 3rd of January.
As reported by public relations of pars oil and gas company (POGC), Farhad Izadjoo, the director of development plan for phases 22, 23, and 24, announced that the structure, has been loaded as scheduled by December from the industrial yard of SADRA company in Bushehr and has been transmitted to the position of phase 22 after being braced on the floating carrier.
The installment of the tripod and flare deck of phase 22 is an important step which is taken with the purpose of finalizing the construction and operationalization of the first platform of phases 22 and 23 of South Pars from the sides of the employer and contractor of the developing plan.
According to the director of the development plan of South Pars phases 22, 23, and 24, the structure weights about 576 tones and the construction operation was already finalized during 4 months since the beginning of the construction in industrial yard of SADRA in June 2016.
Stating that the installment process of the tripod and flare deck of phase 22 had already been started by 25th of December, Izadjoo said that: 10 days were devoted to the operation of the construction set up.
The director of development plan for phases 22, 23, and 24 pointed to the construction of platforms and accessory equipments of the offshore section of the phases and added that: tripod of 24A SPD is in the last construction stages and will be ready to install in the reservoir location by 3rd of February 2017.
According to him, two platforms of 22 and 24A with the extraction capacity of 500 million cubic feet of gas would be finalized and ready for being operationalized from South Pars 22 & 24 phases until the middle of June.
The development plan of phases 22, 23, and 24 is designed for the sake of the extraction of 56 million cubic meters of rich gas per day from the South Pars field and by the time of its finalization, about 50 million cubic meters of sweet gas, 75 thousand barrels of gas condensates, 400 tons of Sulfur per day , and about 1 million tons of Ethane and 1 million tons of Butane and Propane annually would be produced.
