Petrotechnics, the developer of Proscient – the hazardous industries’ first software platform for operational excellence (OE) – has secured five new North Sea contracts and two software upgrades, contributing to significant revenue growth in 2017.
Compared to 2016, the company’s North Sea business grew an unprecedented 60% – far exceeding the regional target for the period. This success has been driven by Proscient’s proven ability to deliver OE and drive digital transformation resulting in tangible business outcomes and fast digital ROI. One customer case study has highlighted annual savings in excess of £5m as a result of job execution efficiencies and a reduction in equipment downtime.
Under the contracts Proscient will be deployed to over 5,000 new users across 15 North Sea assets. The software will enable operators to enhance control of safety, productivity and cost management by delivering a dramatically different, more effective way to visualise and manage activity and risk across their operations.
Iain Mackay, Chief Operating Officer of Petrotechnics, commented: “Forward-thinking operators are choosing Petrotechnics as their trusted partner and Proscient as the foundation for their digital transformation journey. Our client base is growing rapidly from the Americas to Asia because they know we will deliver exactly what we promise, on-time and on budget – every time.
“As the North Sea market continues to rebound, leading organisations are increasingly implementing Industry 4.0 and IIoT strategies to deliver OE and achieve safer, more sustainable operations and revolutionise the production cost base. This is disrupting the norm, and we are very excited to be a part it.”
Proscient is the first OE software platform tailor-made to simplify and automate complex planning, operations and maintenance processes.
