Sendero Midstream Partners, LP (“Sendero”) announced that it has secured long-term producer commitments and sufficient funding from Energy Capital Partners for the construction of a natural gas gathering and processing system located near the city of Carlsbad in Eddy County, New Mexico.
Sendero’s facilities will consist of both low and high pressure gas gathering pipelines, a highly-efficient 130 MMcf/day cryogenic processing plant and a natural gas liquids takeaway pipeline. Sendero’s newly constructed midstream assets are expected to begin operations in the third quarter of 2017 and will be located in an area of New Mexico that is currently facing a shortage of midstream infrastructure.
“The northern Delaware Basin is one of the most prolific and active drilling areas in North America, and we are excited to begin construction of this system. We look forward to establishing our presence in the Basin and providing superior service to our customers,” said Clay Bretches, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sendero.
