Meet the Johan Sverdrup Riser platform – where oil and gas worth a mind-boggling USD 40 million will flow daily when the field produces at full capacity. Built in record speed, with good quality and no significant HSE incidents, she is now on her way from the Samsung yard in South Korea towards Norway. First stop will be at our supplier Aibel in Haugesund, responsible for installing two pedestal cranes, before she continues her journey to the North Sea. There she will be installed as the first of four platforms at the Johan Sverdrup field.
